Pre-Fourth of July Show - Start your day with a little sugar‼️😁❤️💕#146
Today is Monday July 3rd.
On today's show:
Today's word of the day is " freedom "
//: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint:
Or
The state of not being subject to or affected by (a particular undesirable thing)
**Quote of the day:
"There's no greater freedom than the FREEDOM to be yourself. Give yourself that gift, and CHOOSE to surround yourself with those who appreciate you exactly as you truly are!" - Doe Zantamata
"Better to die fighting for freedom then be a prisoner all the days of your life." ― Bob Marley
"May we think of freedom, not as the right to do as we please but as the opportunity to do what is right." — Peter Marshall
What does freedom mean??
We read about freedom, dream about freedom, rejoice in the notion of freedom, teach, advocate, and hope for freedom, but what do we mean by freedom?
Does it mean time freedom, the ability to choose what you want to do without worry?
Or is it financial freedom, not worry about money?
Or is more about the freedom of speech and the ability to think, wonder & yes complain about the world around you!
Former President of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, said it quite beautifully in a speech that there are these four freedoms:
- Freedom of speech and expression
- Freedom of every person to worship God in his or her own way
- Freedom of want – meaning that economic stability can be achieved.
- Freedom of fear – meaning that you aren’t in physical danger or fearing for your life or the life of those who you love.
Free to express, worship, live in a stable and peaceful way?
With that in mind, are you free?
The bumper stickers are true – freedom isn't free. It's costly and valuable, and it should be treasured and kept safe. We honor our freedom when we enjoy it, celebrate it, and share it.
We’re free to make our own choices and go our own way in life. It’s this freedom to choose that makes us who we’re today.
Each human being has a uniquely personal path, and it’s our personal responsibility to follow it. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do, what you want to be, where you want to go, and how you want to live your life.
The most important thing is that YOU make these decisions yourself; they shouldn’t be made by someone else! You have the freedom of choice!
You have the freedom of choice because we all have different interests and desires; therefore, no one can tell another person what to do with their life or how to live it! STOP trying to push your agenda, beliefs on others. In order for society as a whole to not only survive but thrive, it needs a diversity of views and opinions on issues such as religion, politics, economics, etc.

So, Ahron & I went to the Shinedown acoustic free concert in our town. It was super fun but damn am I happy I do not have to deal with the singles scene. Oh hell no! So we saw a Don Johnson look alike and he thought he was all that, I guess at least he was confident. Well we were in the back up against this back wall and I was on the corner. On the opposite side of the corner was tray that had silverware and napkins and stuff and then there was a bunch of stools stacked, so there was no place for people to stand, perfect spot. Well I started smelling this strong odor. There was a guy right behind me, I watched him move the stools & tray and wiggle his stinkiness right behind me. He was literally breathing on my back side (neck, shoulder ect.) He started asking me if I wanted a drink, no thank you. I could not understand him, what I got was he was from Scottland, could not understand why but that he loved it here because he could have guns and a truck. Ok. So he is explaining this and these two chicks come up to him. The one knows him and was all giddy and her friend steps up and says, "Do you have a accent? He said yes and this chick got in between he and I like I was competition or something. Take him please, he stinks!! Gross, you would be with that because he has an accent? You freakin weirdo!! I was just glad he was gone.

THERE HAS BEEN A WHOLE LOT OF THINGS BEING THROWN AT PERFORMERS ON STAGE, THE LATEST:
- Kelsea Ballerini hit in the face by bracelet during concert - Recently P!nk had someone's loved one's ashes thrown at her on stage.
What the heck has been happening at concerts lately? Kelsea Ballerini has become the latest musician to be hit by something thrown from the crowd. In this most recent incident, a video shared on Twitter showed Ballerini was hit in the face by an object while performing in Idaho. On her Instagram story, she confirmed that "someone threw a bracelet" at her and it "hit me in the eye," though she assured fans she's "fine" because this "scared" her more than it hurt her. "We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that's why I walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe to continue," she said. Bebe Rexha was recently hit in the face by a phone while performing, and a fan's mother's ashes were tossed on stage at a Pink show. Maybe concerts — and fans — were a mistake.
