Today is Wednesday August 2nd, yes AUGUST!! Insane that the end of the year is almost here.
I am going to start of the day with the word of the day & quote of the day. A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT IN A WORLD OF HATE, Let's go!

— Aristotle - this is so true, we should never look at others to make us happy. We need to learn to be happy with ourselves.
Happiness - it something that we all seek to find, yet happiness varies from you to me. Typically, happiness is an emotional state characterized by feelings of joy, contentment, and fulfillment.
Some people just tend to be naturally happier than others. But that does not mean that there not things that you can do to cultivate happier state.
- Pursue Personal Growth - Make you more resilient and better able to handle the blows that come with living. It allows you to better understand what you want in life, set goals and achieve them. It gives you greater control in your life. It is a key to learning to handle stress better and can make you healthier.
- Enjoy the moment -
Studies have found that people tend to become so focused on accumulating things that they lose track of actually enjoying what they do have.
So, rather than falling into that trap try focusing on practicing gratitude for the things and people you do have and enjoy the process.
- Reframe from negative thoughts
When you find yourself experiencing negativity try looking for ways that you can reframe your thoughts in a more positive way.
People tend to have natural negativity bias, or a tendency to pay more attention to bad things than the good things.
This can have an impact on everything from how you make decisions to how you form impressions of people.
It is not about ignoring the bad, instead it means trying to take a more balanced, realistic look at events. If you pay attention, you might just notice a pattern in your thinking and then you can challenge those negative thoughts!
**One important thing to remember is that happiness isn't a state of constant euphoria. Instead, happiness is an overall sense of experiencing more positive emotions than negative ones. Sounds simple, eh?
Happy people still feel the whole range of human emotions - anger, frustration, boredom, loneliness, and even sadness, from time to time. But when faced with discomfort, they have an underlying sense of optimism that things will get better, that they can deal with what is happening, and that they will be able to fell happy again.
- Cultivate Strong Relationships
It has been found that good relationships are the strongest predictor of happiness. Having positive and supportive connections with people you care about can provide a buffer against stress, improve your health, and help you become a happier person.
- Regular exercise
y'all know I am always telling you to do your squats. The more of any type of movement, physical activity is linked to a range of physical & psychological benefits including improved mood. It also helps to ward off symptoms of depression. As little as 1o minutes a day, is shown to improve your happiness than people who never exercised.
- Find your sense of purpose
Everyone has a purpose, a why. I am still on the journey of figuring mine out. And I think that as you get older it changes.
But saying that, we all have gone through crap. That means what you have experienced is there for you to help another who is facing the same thing. Do not let anyone ever tell you that you are not qualified. You lived it. Share it. Help someone else. I believe that is why we are all here.
The pursuit of happiness is never ending. It is a choice, not always easy but worth the effort.
