I believe suffering builds character especially when you choice to not fold, to not give into the pain, hurt, to not be the victim. Making the choice every day to get up, put a smile on your face, and put your big girl panties on and declare " I got this, nothing will bring me down. This too will pass & when it does I will be better able to help another who might be facing the same suffering.
My scars might look ugly to others on the surface BUT they are just a reminder that I am not a victim or timid little flower, I am a BADASS insert CHICK OR DUDE!!

What does it mean to be supportive? And why the hell is it that a whole lot of WOMEN are not supportive of one another??
Being supportive means to help a friend, to hype them up for a new position, from helping them through a illness or losing a loved one.
Why is it that some women, not all but a huge majority of women are the worst at this. It is like jealousy takes over and you cannot support another woman. Not sure if it goes back to high school and some girl stealing your boyfriend or what, but damn ladies, support one another! Be a force. Be supportive today.

Today's is truly MamaBear Tracy's birthday. I know I started a week early BUT she deserves all the hugs & love today. Wish her a happy birthday!

- Here is CO a local non-profit, Bear Creek Garden Association, which manages the community garden located by Bear Creek Regional Park, Charmaine Nymann Community Garden has raised the funds again $12,000 to control the weeds around the organic vegetable garden so that no chemicals are used. People come from all over to watch and take pictures of these goats. It does not say that there is a fee to come see the goats but I would guess that is a good way to continue to make the $12,000. They have been able to raise the money for the past 24 years. Good for them. Those chemicals in the weed spray are not good!!
- Baskin-Robbins is launching a Chick'n & Waffles Flavor for a limited time. On March 1st. Baskin-Robbins will be launching this sweet and savory flavor. According to press release this ice cream does not in fact include chicken, so vegetarians needn't worry. I would question the chicken flavoring! Gross!! Well they use waffle flavored ice cream, chunks of waffle and faux chicken, and bourbon maple syrup. Sounds like a bunch of chemicals to make of real flavors.

Today is Wednesday, February 22nd. Today's word of the day is "humble." Meaning: showing a modest estimate of one's own pride and self-worth and expressing meekness, modesty and subservience.

Humility is one of the best and most important qualities that a person can have in the modern world. When you choose to be humble, it makes you much more approachable, lovable, and personable. People who maintain an attitude, outlook, and posture of humility are often much more beloved, then the Narcissistic person who will lie, AND pretend to be nice and "humble" just to get what they want. WHAT!!!
A common mistake that people make is that humility is entirely based on rejecting one's own needs to serve others. While this is partially true in some senses, being humble is all about preserving calmness and ignoring the desire for retribution and vindication. The opposite of humility is arrogance!
Arrogance:
- Blames
- Arrogant people brag about themselves. Prideful.
- Arrogant people do not except responsibility when they do something wrong.
- Arrogant people expect others to serve them, so they can sit on their butts and do nothing. They are master manipulators.
- Arrogant people cannot accept constructive criticism, they can never be wrong.
- Arrogant people emphasize your responsibility to them.
So stop being a arrogant ass. Be kind and humble. Remember, The Dena Jo Kindness Movement!

Procrastination is the avoidance of doing a task that needs to be accomplished. It is the practice of doing more pleasurable things in place of less pleasurable ones, or carrying out less urgent tasks instead of more urgent ones, thus putting off impending tasks to a later time, usually last minute not giving it your very best. Why do we do this? Is it because we are afraid of failing? Or are we so confident that we know what we are doing (or think we know what we are doing) that we do not actually give xyz our all, our best effort.
If we took steps to do the things we really do not want to do, get it over with and then reward yourself for not procrastinating!
