Wednesday December 28th. Welcome to the Dena Jo Podcast. Today's quote of the day, " Do things for people not because of who they are or what they do in return, but because of who you are!" Harold S. Kushner
This is what my mother taught all of her kids. That even if you do not have much you always have something to offer. The "loving" feeling you get from the act of kindness, should be all you need.
I talked a little bit about my sweet little doggie Boo and how he helped me through so much. RIP my sweet friend.
In what's trending, Chips Ahoy will be releasing their newest creations, merging two favorite flavors, chewy confetti cake cookies and chocolate chip cookies smashed together.
Arby's is launching another new spicy roast beef sandwhich, a step down from their diablo dare. This spicy roast beef sandwich comes with thinly sliced roast beef covered in a fiery seasoning, lettuce, jalapeno's and spicy mayo all on a sesame seed bun. I don't know, I would try it.
My friend Timmy Tuddles (which I had a brain fart forgetting his real name on National Tim day!) joined me to talk about the weather and current events in Canada. He also gave a great survival tip with the cold weather that is just starting. Winter has just begun and there are colder days ahead. His tip was to make a tent out of blankets you, or put them over windows so that the heat stays in. If you are under a blanket tent and your whole family climbs in, the body heat will keep the tented area warm and could save your life.
I also went over the National holidays and this day in music history before starting music list for the day, "Songs from the summer the year you graduated." Started with 1958 and ended today the year 1962. There is a number one, two and three for each year. Hope you enjoy!

I gave an update on the weather here in Denver CO and now headed across the country. We are warming up to hopefully 15.

Today is Wednesday December 21st. TODAY IS STELLA'S BDAY!! Happy birthday my little friend!
Talked about the weather front coming through the state and the rest of the states today in Colorado. "They" are calling this Christmas week blizzard a bomb cyclone, snarling holiday travelers in life threatening conditions. This powerful arctic front plows south and eastward on Wednesday, the winter storm will reach the central Rockies and northern plains where conditions will rapidly deteriorate.
The winter storm will also usher in bitterly cold, potentially life-threatening temperatures that will spawn a widespread flash freeze in the midwest and east.
Today's word of the day is "adorn."

Today is Monday December 19th. I went over the coming weather event that is coming Colorado Wednesday evening. Dangerously cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as -50 below zero in areas. Wednesday thru Friday morning. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on any exposed skin in as little as 5 mins. Avoid being outside. If you need to go out, dress in layers. Take blankets, water, snacks in your car. Wednesday night can see lows at -21, Thursday a high of -1 and overnight of -18. Friday it starts to warm up with a high of 16.
Today's word of the day was "buccaneer"

Today is Tuesday December 14th. Today in Denver it is currently a warm 17 degrees but feels like 15 degrees and we might get to a high of 35.

She would leech on to him and drain the life out of him. She?? Why does it have to be a she?? Hahahaha

Some people think it is too late in life to change the paths they are on. I know "older" and young individuals that always have an excuse to continue with their poor behavior and pure laziness. Some just are not interested in bettering their lives.

Try to remember when you are in the depth of that pit of disappear, this too will pass. You will look back on that particular day and be amazed, in thinking back and realizing, "I made it through it. And I am stronger for it!!" You went through it for a reason and I believe it is to tell your story. Help others when they feel like there is nothing left to live for.
